So my friend sent me a message saying send your art in "or else". My first thought was are you crazy, they won't be interested in my art. But after looking into Aether Brewing and what they're about, supporting Australian artists and celebrating local creativity through their ‘Artist Amplifier Initiative,' I thought you know what, why not, it wouldn't hurt to try.

And you guessed it, I won.

Aether Brewing is a family owned craft brewery based in Northgate, Brisbane and these guys are genuinely celebrated for featuring Aussie artists on their beer labels. My piece 'Twin Flames' was chosen for their Limited Release 'Summer of Sour' Barrel Aged Raspberry and honestly it was a pinch me moment. I'd not long been painting and to have my work seen and chosen like that was something I'd never experienced before. Extremely humbling doesn't even cover it.

I took my 5 minutes of fame and ran with it.
