Who is Cozza?
Hey, I’m Cozza, a nature loving, crystal obsessed Aussie with 27 years in graphic design. Back in 2019, I hit pause on my design career to navigate a tough period in my life and used the opportunity to explore new ways of making art. With my fascination for the branching patterns found in dendritic crystals and nature, I was curious to see how I could recreate those in my art. I played around with different mediums, and in doing so, I was able to develop my unique botanical abstract style, which I call ‘C-Theory.’
Understanding 'C-Theory'?
As I worked on each piece, I began to rediscover a sense of purpose and potential, not just in the art, but within myself and my abilities. Visual expression is a powerful outlet, and through ‘C-Theory,’ I’ve embraced the idea of following the path of least resistance. This concept comes to life in my paintings, where the process feels natural and intuitive, allowing my creativity to unfold freely without forcing outcomes.
